In other categories, ABC’s Modern Family took home the GLAAD Award for outstanding comedy series, with star Jesse Tyler Ferguson accepting the honors. The Steve Levitan/Christopher Lloyd comedy shared the honor in the category last year with Fox’s Glee.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson might be a star now, but he remembers sweating it out in front of casting directors.
Says the “Modern Family” actor: “I’ve had many horrible, horrible auditions. They’re tucked away. I try not to remember them.”
Ferguson is revisiting those early tough days in a cameo for “Submissions Only,” a new online scripted sitcom now wrapping up its second season that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the life of theater hopefuls.
Each episode begins with an audition and the one featuring Ferguson — which airs April 27 on BroadwayWorld.com — has him belting out an original song — and crashing and burning.
“It’s sort of the actor’s nightmare,” says Ferguson. “You get in your head too much and you start second-guessing everything too much.”

This season, audiences will be able to see the entire Modern Family clan travel to Disneyland in an upcoming episode of the show, but one of the show’s stars was recently spotted spending some of his own vacation time at a Disney park as well. Actor Nolan Gould, who plays Luke Dunphy on Modern Family, was recently spotted taking some time off in Walt Disney World.

Gould took some time out of his Walt Disney World vacation to pose with Donald Duck himself at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Suited up in their swimming gear, the two are seen here giving the “Hang Ten” sign and relaxing at the water park.
