I recently had the chance to play the Modern Family Board Game, and it was a great time!

The goal of the game was to collect 30 tokens before the other teams. We played with a group of 6 adults, and a mixed group of those who had watched Modern Family before and those who hadn’t. Because of that, we split the teams so that not all the “non watchers” were on one team.

The questions were split into three sections, Parenting, Family, Event, Interview and Modern and you rolled the dice to move around the board and land on the sections. We found the hardest questions to be actually the trivia ones – which comes into play when you have people who haven’t watched or not watched a lot. Even for those of us who watch every week we had trouble with some of the questions, but managed. For those of us who did watch, getting the trivia right was a lot of fun.

The Interview and charades were the most fun. Charades cause they are always fun and we had a group for them. The “Interview” cards that came up actually brought a lot of interesting conversations, more than I would have thought. The timing of the game took longer then we thought cause we spent time talking about some of the answers that came about.

Overall, we had a lot of fun with the game, and the bigger group the better. This is a fun one for Modern Family fans, and if you can’t find as whole group of Modern Family fans to play, everyone can still have a good time!

Modern Family Cast Members Ariel Winter and Julie Bowen were at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Writers Nominee Reception yesterday and I’ve added the photos.

The new Baby Lily joins the cast of Modern Family in the first group photo released for season 3. Here’s the whole gang in white climbing a stairway to suburban heaven in ABC’s fall marketing art for the comedy hit, which returns to its Wednesday night perch on Sept. 21.
