TV Guide asked Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ty Burrell to tease the upcoming season’s scenes they’re most anxious for us to see. Read below!

Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Mitchell): “We did a great scene with Nathan Lane. If that’s not gay enough already, we’re all wearing Oscar Wilde outfits in the scene. You know, general 18th Century garb. He’s playing our old flamboyant friend Pepper who is throwing his Oscar Wilde and Crazy brunch. He was so good. It turns out he was really trying to get on the show. He loves it and was even quoting obscure lines from past episodes.”

Ty Burrell (Phil): “I have another encounter with the steps in our house, which was very fun to revisit. In the finale we made an attempt to fix them, and we’re going to readdress that.”
